How We build PlsTect

We began with functional coatings, but from the start, we worked toward the product those coatings had to serve.

As our work moved from coated sheets and films into windshields, lenses, screens, safety windows, and other finished forms, we deliberately built the material, fabrication, validation, and production capabilities needed to carry performance through to use.

That is how PlsTect took shape: not as a collection of separate services, but as a coating company with a clear product focus and a connected way of turning performance requirements into manufacturable results.

Some projects call for a coated sheet, film, or glass. Others move forward as printed panels, formed covers, windows, lenses, or finished product forms ready for assembly.

The scope may change from one project to another. Our role remains consistent: keeping performance, processing, and the final product aligned from the first decision onward.

Machine safety windows bring together clear viewing, impact resistance, surface durability, machining accuracy, and installation fit. The finished window must remain practical through repeated cleaning and daily industrial use—not simply perform as a coated sheet.

Surveillance camera lens projects brought optical performance, coating quality, dimensional control, and assembly requirements into the same product decision. Transmission, reflection, surface quality, geometry, and environmental durability all had to remain consistent in the finished optical part—not only on a test sample.

A 940 nm sensor cover window is defined by what it transmits, not only by how clear it appears. Material selection, thickness, coating direction, surface quality, dimensions, and integration with the sensor all influence the final optical result.

The Product Goal Comes First

The products we have delivered continue to shape how we approach new work.

We begin by defining what the finished product must achieve—its performance, appearance, use conditions, product form, quality expectations, and validation target. Only then do we determine the material, coating, and production route.

The route may differ from project to project. The product goal remains the reference point throughout.

End-use Performance

What the product must deliver in clarity, durability, protection, touch, cleanability, weatherability, or optical performance.

Product Form

Whether the required result is a coated sheet or film, a lens, window, panel, cover, or a product ready for further assembly.

How the result will be evaluated through samples, test methods, appearance criteria or certification-related targets.

Production Target

What must remain consistent when the project moves from development into repeatable production.

We Plan for What Comes Next

Once the product goal is clear, we plan the route beyond the coating itself.

We consider how the material will be printed, cut, formed, bonded, laminated, cleaned, assembled, and used. This allows the substrate, coating, process sequence, and product form to be defined with the later stages already in view.

Not every project includes every process. But every process that can influence the final result is considered early.

From First Sample to Repeatable Production

A first sample shows what is possible. Our next task is to make the result clear, measurable, and repeatable.

We define how performance, appearance, dimensions, and workmanship will be evaluated, then carry those expectations into process control, inspection, documentation, and production.

The aim is not simply to reproduce one successful sample, but to preserve the result as materials, quantities, and production conditions change.
